Local AI for child protection
Less time on bureaucracy. More time for intervention.
Information without structure is just data
In child protection services, several professionals work on the same cases. Every day they record observations, incidents and follow-ups, and that information ends up scattered across documents, internal notes and, in many cases, paper.
That time comes out of the place where it hurts most: direct care.
-
Reconstructing a history takes too much time
Over time, rebuilding the full trajectory of a child becomes difficult, slow and unreliable.
-
Too many hours for every report
Reports for administration, justice and internal follow-up: finding the information, organising it and writing it coherently takes hours.
-
Information gets lost
Data left in a notebook or in someone's head, deadlines that arrive too tight and documents with inconsistent structure.
The product
The service's day-to-day, organised in one place
Biiak captures daily records in a structured way and turns them into organised information that is searchable and ready for drafting.
Daily records by text and voice
The team captures day-to-day work in a structured and organised way, in writing or by voice.

Day-to-day operations
Management of activities, visits and other internal service processes.
Ask Biiak and get the answer with its source.
Biiak's AI finds specific information, summarises periods or incidents and prepares drafts from what has already been recorded. Every answer cites the source notes so it can be verified in one click.

Trend detectedMore and more organisations and public bodies are detecting teams using general-purpose AI tools: sensitive data on external platforms, with no traceability and no clarity about where the information comes from.
Biiak takes the opposite approach: integrated, controlled use that is aligned with the service's real work.

Local AI: sensitive data never leaves the organisation
Biiak can run with local AI hosted inside the organisation itself, based on small, efficient and sustainable models. Information does not need to leave the perimeter to be processed, and the organisation is not exposed to changing terms, limits or prices from external platforms.

Who it's for
Who it's for
The problem is shared across the whole child protection ecosystem; what changes is how information is recorded and how reports are structured. Biiak adapts to each context.

Frequently asked questions
The essentials about Biiak, local AI and how to get started.
What is Biiak?
Biiak is a local artificial intelligence platform for child protection organisations and social services in Spain. It helps teams organise daily records by text and voice, search case files with AI, and generate report drafts, reducing the time spent on paperwork so it can be returned to direct work with children and families. Unlike cloud-based AI tools, Biiak runs on 100% local AI: sensitive data never leaves the organisation, which makes it easier to comply with GDPR in organisations that handle especially protected information. It is designed for residential and foster care, adoption, family intervention, psychological support (SAP), provincial councils and local governments. Biiak is a product of MUBBER ZIRA S.L., a member of NVIDIA Inception and BIC Gipuzkoa, based in Donostia-San Sebastián.
What does it mean that Biiak's AI is "local"?
It means the artificial intelligence models run inside the organisation's own infrastructure, not on cloud AI services. No case file data is sent to third parties or used to train external models: information always remains under the organisation's control.
How does Biiak help with GDPR compliance?
The main risk of using general-purpose AI in social services is especially protected data being transferred to external providers. Because everything is processed inside the organisation, Biiak eliminates that transfer and the organisation keeps full control over the processing. We also publish our privacy policy and our information security policy.
Who is Biiak for?
For organisations and public bodies within the child protection and social services ecosystem: residential care, foster care, adoption, family intervention, psychological support (SAP), provincial councils and local governments.
